My client has an immediate need for a Flash Action Script Developer. This will be a part of a team designing  and creating next generation user interfaces for TV interfaces, touch screens, web and PC based applications.

Responsibilities:

Develop Flash Lite-based user interfaces for TV set-top boxes, personal media players, and other consumer electronics devices.

Create clean, object-oriented Action Script that is architected using components and well thought-out libraries.

Envision and rapidly prototype in Flash Lite new interfaces for usability analysis.

This position can be contract or contract to hire.  Relocation assistance is also available.

Required skills:

BS or Masters degree in Computer Science

Experience with Flash Lite 2 or 3.
Able to perform well in an agile environment.

5 to 10 years professional experience with at least 3 years direct experience in Flash or Actionscript.

Preferred Skills:
Experience with performance optimizations and tuning of Action Script for embedded environments.
Understanding of how Flash Lite interfaces with code written in other languages such as C++.
Understanding of Flash Lite, XML, Sockets and how they are used in network communications.
 Localization and Internationalization of Flash content.
