Job Description:
Seeking a highly motivated Sales Executive to join a growing new media production and distribution company located in Burbank, CA. We produce and distribute multi-award winning mobile and web comedy videos for worldwide distribution on channels such as iPhones, Blackberries and Sprint. Successful candidate should be an advertising sales star who wants to be at the front of the mobile entertainment boom. We are looking for someone to cultivate deep relationships and close deals with our rolodex of warm leads with sponsors, television networks, products, brands, entertainment and new media companies. Sense of humor is a plus! We boast a fun, casual work environment consistent with the entertainment business, but a down to business work ethic required of startups. Candidate must have superior verbal communication skills and a basic understanding of new media. This is a temp-to-hire position with promotion to VP of Sales and a substantial salary increase after proven performance and successful completion of probationary period. Check out what we do at: www.babelgum.com/mrwrong
 
 

Location: Burbank, CA
Hours: 10:00am to 6:30pm, M-F
Compensation: $500/wk salary + strong commission package, with promotion to VP of Sales, and substantial salary increase after proven performance and successful completion of probationary period.

Skills and Responsibilities:
 
  • Understanding of webisode production and the marketing opportunities to potential advertisers
  • Experience with mobile advertising and the interactive space is a plus
  • Ability to achieve sales targets and increase company revenues
  • Resourceful, verbal, Internet savvy, organized and energetic multi-tasker
  • Some travel and networking functions required to cultivate new business relationships
  • Collaborating with our office Intern, who will assist you in all of your duties
  • Creating a target list from our rolodex of current prospects and warm leads, while simultaneously scheduling meetings to sell our content to advertisers.
  • Organizing our distribution numbers and strategizing with the team to create content that appeals to our advertisers.
